If you visit a place that speaks your language you can ask almost anyone where to go, what to do or how to get somewhere. Often times, that’s what make people choose a travel destination in the first place.
However, that’s pretty limiting. And most travelers want to visit all the exotic places and beautiful scenes they’ve seen on TV and in the movies. They want to see the world and experience it fully. The language gap was a gap that needed to be filled, and that’s exactly how IconSpeak came to be. The three men behind this ingenious idea came up with the plan after numerous drinks and broken down motorcycles somewhere in Vietnam.
The company was founded on one sole purpose: Make communication easier for travelers. Their first project they decided would be to design a t-shirt. They fit the tee with 40 basic, universal symbols and icons that could be pointed at during discussion for reference, and the rest is history.
