Diddy Is Adding ‘Headmaster’ To His Resume Now That’s He Set To Open His Own Charter School
He’s a rapper, producer, record producer, actor, andENTREPRENEUR. While Dr. Dre and Jay-Z certainly bring the fire in the mogul game, Diddy is and always will be the OG rap mogul. He made $60 million last year, putting him at the top of the list for hip-hop earners, just another example that whenever Diddy flexes his business acumen, he’s gonna make some stacks.
After five long years, Sean Combs can now officially add “headmaster” to his resume, as Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School is set to open this fall in East Harlem. That’s right, Diddy’s been working on what is supposed to be the most effective model of education for the past five years, and he plans to open the school to offer free education for grades 6-12.
As Happy As A School Boy
Combs has said the venture is a “dream come true,” and he partnered with Dr. Steve Perry who founded Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut. Perry is overseeing the school, and Orlando-based educator Danita Jones will be its principal.
Hey, if this goes well, maybe it won’t be long before you can get a master’s degree thanks to Puffy without the need for gigantic student loans.
