College Student Pays Off Grandparents Mortgage By Using These Simple Money Saving Tricks

College is that period in your life where you discover who you really are. There are endless possibilities that you don’t even know where to begin. Are you going to become a doctor and help save lives? Or do you want to start up your own successful business? You take classes that will teach you everything you need to know, and meet people who will change your life forever.
However, college shouldn’t just be about 8 a.m. classes, it’s about having a good time as well. Go out to a party, make new friends, eat some classy dorm food, YOLO! While most students are waking up with hangovers, Stefan Darts is focusing on helping out his family. The Houston native recently did something special for his grandparents who have helped raise him since he was a kid.
Not only does he work a full-timeJOB while in school, but he also helps run his non-profit organization, Caring Heart Youth. According to KHOU, a local CBS affiliate, he saved money by eating microwave pizza and opting to not go out with his friends.
So with all that money he saved, what could he have possibly done to make him “grandson of the century?”

Darts presented his grandparents with a $15,000 check for their mortgage and a trip to the Bahamas. Wow, what an amazing grandson.
If only other students had a head on their shoulders like Darts, the world would be a better place.
